The 4th Generation GoCycle is the most engineered and arguably best designed eBike we offer. Legendary industrial race car designer Richard Thorpe, formally of McLaren founded GoCycle in 2002 with the goal of building the world's BEST urban electric bike. I think 20 years later he can claim he's succeeded! I had seen the prior generation GoCycles many years ago at bike trade shows but didn't quite get it.
Fast forward to a few years ago when our amazing Rep Eric sent me a loaner 3rd generation GoCycle to demo. It stayed with me everywhere for those 2 weeks, from work, to home, to events, to town. The ease of folding, transporting and storing, especially with the clean drive system made me ride it more than any other eBike at the time. He knew what he was doing, and ASR became a very enthusiastic dealer. These bikes are made in Poland with extreme attention to detail and quality. Another cool factor to consider is not only can you keep your GoCycle protected and with you much more often in your vehicle, you also don't need an expensive hitch and rack set up to haul your bike.
Growing up riding BMX, I really like the feel and nimbleness of the 20" tires too. If you're even slightly interestd in theis bike, come take a test ride and you'll have an "aha" moment on why this eBike is so hyped up! The only draw back is the ever increasing price, however, you do get what you pay for with this one, and the company is not going anywhere so in the unlikely event you need service or parts, it won't be an issue.
